Florida Tech Panthers Outfielder Cheyenne Nelson Named to NFCA All-South Area Group

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Florida Tech Cheyenne Nelson continues to rack up the post-season awards. Nelson has been named to the NFCA All-South Area Second Group, introduced Wednesday.
Nelson picks up her third NFCA All-Area honors. Nelson led the Panthers with a .401 common in 147 at-bats.
She completed the season with 59 hits, six doubles, one dwelling run, 19 RBI, 29 runs scored, and 16 stolen bases.
The middle fielder recorded 77 putouts and simply two errors for a .988 fielding share. Nelson ranks among the many high 10 within the SSC in batting common and hits.
Nelson completed her profession second all-time in profession hits with 246, third all-time in batting common, on-base share (.427), doubles (39), whole bases (314), fourth all-time in stolen bases (62), and fifth in runs (137).
NFCA All-Area gamers are nominated and chosen by NFCA member coaches in every respective area.
