NASA, SpaceX Set to Launch Axiom House Mission-2 to Worldwide House Station Right this moment at 5:37 p.m. ET

(NASA) – Liftoff of the Axiom Mission 2, the second personal astronaut mission to the Worldwide House Station, is scheduled for five:37 p.m. EDT Sunday from Launch Complicated 39A at NASA’s Kennedy House Middle in Brevard County.

The instantaneous launch window is at 5:37 p.m. ET (21:37 UTC), with a backup alternative out there on Monday, Could 22 at 5:14 p.m. ET (21:14 UTC).

The crew will journey to the orbiting outpost aboard the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft, named Freedom, after launching on the corporate’s Falcon 9 rocket.

The Ax-2 crew members are Commander Peggy Whitson, Pilot John Shoffner, and Mission Specialists Ali Alqarni and Rayyanah Barnawi, representing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

NASA’s mission accountability is for built-in operations, which begins through the spacecraft’s strategy to the Worldwide House Station, continues through the crew’s keep aboard the orbiting laboratory conducting science, schooling, and industrial actions, and concludes as soon as Dragon exits the realm of the area station.
