NASA to Talk about Conclusions of Psyche Mission Impartial Assessment Board on June 5

(NASA) – NASA will host a media teleconference at 4 p.m. EDT on Monday, June 5, to debate the follow-up report by the Psyche mission unbiased assessment board.
The brand new evaluation opinions corrective actions taken following the November 2022 report.
Convened in July 2022 by NASA and the company’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Southern California, the board examined elements contributing to the Psyche mission’s request to delay its August 2022 launch.
The mission’s new launch interval opens on Oct. 5, 2023.
The spacecraft will examine a metal-rich asteroid of the identical title that could be the partial core of a planetesimal, a constructing block of rocky planets in our photo voltaic system.
