BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – SpaceX is scheduled to launch a Falcon 9 rocket carrying the Euclid mission for the European Area Company from Cape Canaveral on July 1.
The launch is focused for 11:12 a.m. ET.
Euclid is an astrophysics mission with a telescope and two scientific devices designed to discover the evolution of the darkish universe.
The mission will make a 3D-map of the universe by observing billions of galaxies out to 10 billion light-years.
Falcon 9’s first stage booster will land on a drone ship within the Atlantic Ocean.
